API & Data Export

Machine-readable access to the full sanctions dataset — JSON, CSV and REST.

Every active sanctions program across 15 authorities, with its authority, target countries, restriction types, legal bases and official source — as a single bulk export or a REST endpoint. Free for non-commercial use under CC BY-NC 4.0; commercial use is licensed.

GET/api/v1/export.json

Full active dataset as JSON, with a meta envelope (generatedAt, counts, license) and every program’s authority, target countries, restrictions, legal bases, source and resources.

GET/api/v1/export.csv

The same dataset flattened to CSV — one row per program — for spreadsheets and ingestion. Served as a file download.

GET/api/v1/programs

The active programs array without the export envelope.

Every response carries an X-Data-License header. The JSON envelope includes a meta block with generatedAt, record counts and the license terms.

Licensing & commercial access

The public API is rate-limited and free for non-commercial use. Commercial use — including screening, monitoring, or embedding the data in a product — requires a license with higher limits and a bulk feed. See pricing or email benny.zaminga@gmail.com.
