OFAC Afghanistan-Related Sanctions is a sanctions program maintained by Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) targeting Afghanistan. It imposes asset freeze, financial restrictions and trade restrictions.

Overview
The Afghanistan-Related Sanctions program implements multiple legal authorities, including counter-terrorism sanctions under EO 13224 and measures protecting certain property of Da Afghanistan Bank for the benefit of the people of Afghanistan under EO 14064. The program includes numerous general licenses authorizing humanitarian activities, trade in agricultural commodities and medicine, personal remittances, official business, and NGO activities in Afghanistan.
